The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the class 10 and 12 results. This year again the board has set up the tele-counselling facility for the students to help them with their psychological or career related issues post results. The helpline is open for the students of class 10 and 12 and their parents. The tele-counselling service is available free of cost. Through the helpline number they can share their grievances and queries with the counsellors who will then assist them with their issues.

The tele-counselling service by the CBSE is a great initiative which helps students overcome their grief and stress post results.It also provides them guidance regarding career choices they can make.
Two Types of Tele-counselling for Students
1. IVRS- This will provide recorded useful tips to deal with the results of exams held in 2020 and also information on dealing with stress and precautions for Covid-19.
2. Live-Tele Counselling- Tele-operators will connect parents and students to the educators and counsellors.

The questions frequently asked by the students regarding results and compartment papers are also provided on the CBSE website, which are helpful for other students also. Students of class 12 can also verify the marks obtained by them from July 17 and class 10 students from July 20, 2020.
The board has also released guidelines for re-evaluation, obtaining the marksheets and verification of marks for students of class 10. As per the guidelines all the application will be accepted through online mode and the processing charges will also be accepted online.
Many students every year commit suicide owing to the pressure of performing well in the board exams and the tele-counselling facility by the CBSE is the need of the hour to deal with this issue. Many deaths can be prevented if students are provided enough psychological help during the time of results as it would relieve undue stress and mental burden on them.
The counsellors at CBSE are very helpful and calmly listen to the grievances of the students and provide them support and guidance regarding the same, thereby making it easier for them to overcome their grief of not doing well in the exams.
