As schools in Nagaland remain closed after the state government ordered to close down all educational institutions in the state following the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic across the globe, the state’s educational system has been challenged to switch to online learning or digital learning for the state. In this regard, the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) made its initial move by introducing a digital learning app for Classes IX and X students to access free learning of two subjects— science and mathematics.

A DIPR update on Friday evening said: “The board would like to inform that Clixa Technology Pvt Ltd, New Delhi have developed a digital learning App 'BRIGHT TUTEE' for Nagaland students in the subjects, science and mathematics for Classes IX & X.” The content is in conformity with the syllabus and textbooks prescribed by NBSE.

It said that for Class IX, the courses will offered for free of cost for the current academic year. However, for Class X, the digital learning content would be free till April 30 this year. It added that the app provides a comprehensive digital learning content with chapter-wise, topic-wise learning and assessment for students. It can also be used by teachers to aid classroom teaching, revision and remedial purpose, and can be accessed through Android mobile phones/tablets or desktop PCs/laptops.

The step-by-step procedures to get free online subscription through app on Android mobile phones/ Android tablets are:

Step 1: Download Bright Tutee App (https://tinyurl.com/BTuteeApp) from Google Play Store.

Step 2: Register yourself on the platform using your basic information like mobile no or email.

Step 3: Select your board (Nagaland Board), grade (IX or X), medium (English).

Step 4: Select your subjects, Mathematics & Science, one by one and click on BUY COURSE button. If you are a Class IX student, select duration as 12 months and if you are a Class X student, select duration as 1 month and click on ‘ADD TO CART’. Repeat the step to add other subjects.

Step 5: Go to the cart page and apply your coupon code ‘BTNBOSE09’ for Class IX students and ‘BTNBOSE10’ for Class X students. The total amount will become 0 (Zero).

Step 6: Click on checkout and complete the buying cycle without paying any amount.

Step 7: Log in to your account using your user credentials (mobile/OTP).

Step 1: Visit www.brighttutee.com. Click on START YOUR JOURNEY button available on top-right of the website.

Step 2: Fill the registration form to register yourself on the platform using your basic information like mobile no or email. An OTP will be sent to your phone, enter the OTP and proceed further.

Step 3: Select your board (Nagaland Board), class (IX or X), medium (English).

Step 4: Select your subjects, Mathematics & Science, one by one and click on BUY NOW button. If you are a Class IX student select duration as 12 months and if you are a Class X student, select duration as 1 month and click on ADD TO CART. Repeat the step to add other subjects by clicking on buy more button in the cart page.

Step 5: Go to the cart page and apply your coupon code BTNBOSE09 for Grade IX students and BTNBOSE10 for Grade X students. The total amount will become 0 (Zero).
