Uttarakhand Board Class 10 & 12 Results Declared

The Uttarakhand Board of Secondary Education (UBSE) has announced the results of Class 10 and 12 board exams today i.e. 29 July at 11 am. The students of the Uttarakhand Board can check their results from its official website - ubse.uk.gov.in. To see their results the students will have to enter their roll number etc. This year, maximum number of students passed the examsin comparison to last five years.

Better Pass Percentage in Comparison to Last 5 Years

Around 80.26% students passed in Class 12 and 76.91% in class 10.  The number of students who had given the class 10 exams was around 1.4 lakh and around 1.35 lakh students had appeared for class 12 exams. Also, the pass percentage was more in comparison to last 5 years.

Girls Outperformed the Boys

This year again, the girls outperformed the boys in the exam results. The pass percentage of boys in class 10 was only 71.39 % and that of girls was 82.65 %. In class 12, 76.68% boys cleared the exams while the pass percentage of girls was 83.63%.

While many other state boards had cancelled the exams, the UBSE managed to conduct the board exams for class 10 and 12 and declared the results based on those exams, even as some of them were postponed due to the lockdown. The Board held its pending exams in June 2020.

The topper of class 10 was Gaurav Saklani from Tehri Garhwalwith 98.20% and of class 12 was Beauty Vatsal from Udham Singh Nagar, who got 96.60%.
